Roof Access & Cat Ladder Support
Roofs are the most under-rated work-at-height environment. Fragile sheets, hidden skylights, weathered ladders and missing anchor points are common. We help building owners and contractors plan a safe roof access route, identify edge-protection options, and integrate roof work into the wider permit-to-work flow. We also support roof cleaning campaigns on tiled, metal and flat commercial rooftops where lifting equipment is not practical.
Is the roof or slab leaking?
This page covers safe access to the roof. If the issue is ponding, failed membrane, cracked upstands or water ingress, assess the waterproofing system before maintenance finishes are reinstated.

Process
Route walk-down
We walk the access route from ground level to the work zone, noting ladder condition, fall-from-height risk points, and rescue access for stretcher recovery.
Anchor & edge plan
Existing anchors are checked against documentation where available. Where they are absent or undocumented, we propose temporary anchor systems sized for fall arrest or restraint.
Execution support
A trained standby person holds rescue gear at the access point. The team works in restraint where possible — if you cannot fall, you do not need to be rescued.
